🟣 5.2 Solo Robbing or Robbing Without Hostages

General Information

From what we have seen from other communities there have been very strict rules for certain criminal activities. We believe criminal actions should not be restricted, allowing for a more immersive and dynamic roleplay experience. Our FiveM community thrives on creative freedom, where players can fully embrace both sides of the law, creating engaging stories and unpredictable interactions.

You are permitted to rob convenience stores, banks etc... WITH or WITHOUT hostages.

Hostage Situations

Hostage Involved

When hostages are involved, the situation becomes more complex and requires a higher level of roleplay and negotiation. If you choose to take a hostage, the situation will transition into a hostage negotiation phase. The criminal must communicate that there is a hostage present, and at this point, negotiations with law enforcement will begin.

In these negotiations, the criminal will have the opportunity to request “Free Passage” for themselves, which is typically the most common form of agreement. This means that the criminal will be allowed to leave the scene, unarmed and not engaged in any further violence or shooting at law enforcement, provided that the hostage is safely released to law enforcement. The hostage must be seen at some point during this negotiation. The hostage can be left within the establishment of the crime as LEO will be required to clear said establishment for total safety of the hostage.

Negotiations should always aim to prioritize the safety of the hostage, and law enforcement is expected to engage in a diplomatic manner to ensure the hostage's survival. The criminal must also be aware that, if their demands are unreasonable or if violence is escalated, the situation may result in a standoff with law enforcement, which could end in forceful intervention.

No Hostage Situation

When committing a robbery without hostages, the criminal is racing against the clock as law enforcement (LEO) will likely arrive shortly after the crime is committed. In these scenarios, criminals are not permitted to make demands and must rely on quick thinking and efficient execution. There is no room for negotiation or delay. The focus is on executing the crime swiftly and exiting the scene before law enforcement arrives.

If the criminal leaves the establishment unarmed and avoids engaging in any violent confrontation with law enforcement, their chances of survival and escape are significantly higher. The criminal must take advantage of any opportunity to flee to their vehicle or getaway location as quickly as possible. If done correctly, they will have a chance to evade capture and make a clean getaway. However, if the situation turns violent or escalates, the risk of arrest or being caught increases dramatically.

Conclusion

Remember that every decision you make has consequences, and outcomes are shaped by the choices you and others make throughout the roleplay. Whether it’s a robbery with no hostages or a hostage situation, the key to a successful and enjoyable roleplay experience is engagement, creativity, and realism.
